Welcome to 2023! I hope you all had and continue to have a great holiday season!
Jumping right into the new release stage is Brunswick, Columbia300, Ebonite and Radical. We hear many times, why isn’t there something new or why are you remaking that ball again? Truth is there’s only so much can happen in 2.5 seconds as the ball goes down the lane. Matching up is the key to good scoring. Bowling continues to get new bowlers joining the experienced bowlers on the lanes and they have missed some great releases that could match up to their game, needs and growth. That being said, here are some familiar techs as well as some changes to bring different ball motions and reaction shapes to the new year. Core numbers noted below are at 15lbs. All bowling balls (except Polys) have a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase.
Brunswick Knock Out Bruiser
The Melee core, it’s simply one of the best cores in bowling. We have seen it different name plates and coverstocks. Here comes the Brunswick Knock Out Bruiser. This option is slated for medium to heavier volumes and can be a great benchmark depending on the bowler’s attributes and what they bowl on mostly. The cover is an updated Savvy Hook 4.0 solid which gives easy length and hook at the breakpoint. Compared to the recent Knock Out Black and Blue, this ball will have more length and a later, angular motion. Pair this with a ball in the Melee Jab series (or your favorite cleaner ball) and you have a great 1-2 punch at a fantastic price point. The color is Blue and Purple and comes out of the box at 500, 1000, 2000 Siaair Micro Pad.
