Hammer Dark Web

  Hammer Bowling has continued the Web series with another winner. Ever since the dual release of the Web and Web Tour Edition in 2018, the evolution of the Webs has built a great fan base. Different cores and covers gave them unique ball motions. The new Dark Web brings a new core built with D.O.T. and the cover that is found on the Black Widow 2.0. The Modified Spheroid has a flip block that helps increase overall ball motion. There is an alternate core that keeps the numbers close to the heavier counterparts in the 12-13lb balls. Built for Medium to Heavy volumes, the Dark Web gives bowlers a big solid symmetrical that fits under the Widow line. We have compared this ball with other Webs and you will find our findings on our Reviews and Views page of our website.

Hammer Ocean Vibe

Along with the Black Widow, the Hammer Vibe was the ball Hammerheads have requested. Well, wait no longer. Here is the Hammer Ocean Vibe. The iconic Vibe core is the motor and the coverstock is the CT Reactive Plus that was the solid formulation on the Onyx Vibe. The box finish on the Ocean Vibe is 500/1K/2K Siaair with Crown Factory Polish that will give this ball an amazing look going down the lane; clean and angular. There are alternate cores in 12-13lbs. The Ocean will also be available in weights down to 10lbs. The cover will help bowlers with slower speeds get the ball down the lane and have more reaction than a poly. Hammer 3-D Offset

Does this ball sound familiar? The Hammer 3-D Offset has been brought up in conversations for years when people talk about great bowling balls. Celebrating the 25^th anniversary of the 3-D Offset, Hammer bowling is offering new technology and outstanding performance to remind you of the ball motion but made for today’s conditions. Hammer started with the core shape, creating a single density inner core with the same shape as the original. The original was a thick-shell ball, and it’s been modified today’s version with a carbon fiber outer core. These modifications create more dynamic core numbers for increased ball motion potential and a durable, harder-hitting product. Hammer has also made this a D.O.T. ball which further increases durability and eliminates layout and drilling restrictions. The Blazing Violet color is almost identical to the original. The 12 & 13lbers have an alternate core but offers the same motion as the other weights.

The most popular Hammer core of all time (Gas Mask) and one of the most talked about covers in recent years (Purple Pearl Urethane) have been combined!  If you’re looking for control and more hook (Strong arc) than the Purple Pearl, look no farther. Bowling in high competition need control with more motion? The Hammer Black Widow Urethane should be in your tournament bag. Color? Pink! Pink! & Pink! (With a little white). The Asymmetrical cores are altered in the 12-13lbers, but are still stronger than the Symmetrical Purple Pearls for more motion.

Hammer Black Widow Viz-A-Ball

The last time Hammer released a Pearl Black Widow, it was Pink. You may have heard about it. We are now announcing the Hammer Black Widow Ghost. The color is a beautiful white pearl. Of course the iconic Gas Mask core is the motor with a carbon fiber outer core for durability and added hitting power. The cover is the same as the current Hammer Web Pearl, but the core will provide an overall greater motion. In 12-13lbs. there is an alternate core, but will still give excellent length and a quick response down lane.

Hammer Black Widow Viz-A-Ball

For the first time ever, Hammer presents a Viz-A-Ball with the Gas Mask Core and the carbon fiber outer core (see image below in the Ghost write up). The graphics are fantastic on this release. As with all Viz-A Balls, cleaning should be done with great care and not too much abrasiveness. The 12-13lbs balls will have the same alternate core that is used in the Black Widow Ghost.

Hammer Obsession Tour Pearl

  The Hammer Obsession and Obsession tour have been making noise everywhere they hit the lanes. They are great for motion and control on heavier volumes. But we all know oil does go away after a number of games or there’s just a medium amount to start with. To offer a choice, Hammer presents the Obsession Tour Pearl. It has the same core as the Obsession Tour which offers a smooth asymmetrical motion, but with a clean through the front (Tour V2 Pearl) and a flip motion that might be a little smoother that of a typical hockey stick shape. The Obsession Tour Pearl is a gold color and there is an alternate core for the 12 & 13 lb. balls and all have carbon fiber outer cores as well as D.O.T. for excellent drilling options.

Hammer Infamous

The newest addition to Hammer’s Upper Mid Performance line brings a lot of new technology to this price point. First thing I noticed is that this is the first Upper Mid with D.O.T. so you can drill anyway and keep the warranty intact. The second is the radial disk on the bottom that was on the Hammer Obsession. The Infamous has four densities, including the Carbon Fiber outer core. The cover is the Envy Solid as is the Obsession with the CFI. So, this gives a strong symmetrical with a unique ball motion that bowlers with strong Asyms might want to look at as an alternative. The colors are grey/Royal/Coral and the surface prep (500/1K/2K) will be a great choice for medium to heavy volumes. For bowlers who need a lighter weight (12 or 13), there is the alternate core that has great numbers, and the strong solid cover will help you combat either oil or higher speeds.

Hammer Web Pearl 

A Hammer favorite with a new look has returned to the Web Series. The re-launched Web Pearl has the same core/cover combo as it did in the past, but the colors are now Jade/Smoke. The cover has been adjusted to go a bit longer than the original. This will create clearance and a sharp move down lane. As before, there are alternate cores in the 12-13 lb. balls.

Hammer Scorpion

Are you a fan of bowling balls that are predictable and strong on medium-high volumes? Hammer introduces the new Scorpion. Inside is the LED 2.0 core. This is a variation of the core found in the Purple Pearl Urethane with a lower rg and high diff. The cover is the Semtex hybrid that was previously on the Black Widow Dark Legend and Fierce Phobia has been a Hammerhead favorite. The outstanding colors are Black/Red/Gold and finished at 500/1000/2000 Siaair found added traction.
