Raw Hammers (WWRD 5/3/21)

Hammer Raw Hammer (Solid) The Raw core is back! This time it’s paired with 3 versions of the popular Juiced coverstocks. First up is the Raw Hammer Solid. The Solid is finished at 500/1500/3K Siaair for medium volumes that will give a strong arcing ball motion. In Hammer’s history, the Juiced Solid has been on the Fugitive Solid, Ruthless and Diesel Torque. With today’s slicker conditioners, some older black balls (rubber) have not been performing well for bowlers and are the bane of mechanics worldwide. This ball would be a great replacement for traditionalists who may    require a new weight while adding performance.

Hammer Raw Hammer (Hybrid) In the past, there was only one ball that used a version of the Juiced Hybrid cover. It was the Bad Intentions Hybrid but that formulation was the Juiced Extreme Hybrid. This new version is cleaner for light to medium volumes. The colors are Orange and Black, so you know it’s a Hammer. The box finish is 500/1K/2K Siaair with Crown Factory Compound for easy length and a strong backend.

Hammer Raw Hammer (Pearl) The Raw Hammers with the Juiced Pearl covers come in two beautiful color combos. One is Blue/Silver/White and the other is Purple/Pink/Silver. Both are finished at 500/1K/2K Siaair with Crown Factory Polish for added length and will help create a skid/flip motion. The Hammer Fugitive, Flawless and Rebel Yell were the last 3 balls that used the Juiced Pearl coverstock.

All 4 balls have the carbon fiber outer core for durability and come with a 2 year warranty from the purchase date. Hammer does use an alternate core for weights in 13-12lbs. and just carbon fiber in the 10-11lbs.

Hammer Obsession Tour (WWRD 2/18/21)

Hammer Obsession Tour

The Hammer Obsession Tour shares the same core shape as the Obsession with the difference being the flip block has been removed. This will create less flare, less hook and a more controllable reaction compared to the regular Obsession. This would allow bowlers to stay in the same area of the lane while maintaining a smooth reaction. The core numbers on 15lbs are RG 2.469 DIFF .034 ASY DIFF .013. The biggest number change is the differential being .016 less than the Obsession. Another difference is the coverstock which is an updated version of the Tour cover found on the Web Tour balls, the Tour V2 Solid. This combination is great if a bowler is uncomfortable moving in or for a high rev player looking for control. Personally, I like the Web Tours and I see this being a big brother for more volumes. The color is a solid Burgundy finished at 500/1000 Siaair Micro Pad. The 12 and 13lbers have the same adjusted core in both balls with only the difference being the coverstock.

Hammer Obsession (WWRD 2/18/2021)

Hammer Obsession

Since the acquisition of the Hammer Brand by Brunswick Bowling, there have been questions asking if Hammer will be releasing equipment using Durability Optimization Technology (D.O.T.). The answer now is yes with the release of the new Obsession and Obsession Tour. Combining both with the Carbon Fiber Infused Inner Core adds durability and will come with a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase. The Hammer Obsession has a new coverstock named the Envy Solid CFI, which is designed for heavy volumes. The new Asymmetric Core gives a 15lb ball the specs of- RG 2.468 DIFF .050 ASY DIFF .013. With a finish of 500/1500 Siaair Micro Pad it all adds up to an aggressive midlane and backend reaction. The colors are Black/Pink/Burgundy with a great looking logo. As the lanes transition, your next move may be into the Hammer Obsession Tour.

Hammer Black Widow 2.0 (WWRD 11/19/2020)

Hammer Black Widow 2.0

What can we say here? The long awaited return of the iconic Hammer Black Widow has come. Reflecting back to the Black and Red colors plus using the Gas Mask core and now with Carbon Fiber Infused outer core, the Black Widow 2.0 will excite fans once again. The cover is the Aggression Solid formula finished at 500/1000/2000 Siaair to handle medium to heavy volumes. The Black Widow 2.0 adds other shape offering in the Upper-Mid Performance line. Again, the lighter weight options (12-13 lbs) have the core change with its tech numbers at 12lbs- RG 2.612, DIFF 0.043, ASY 0.011 and 13lbs RG 2.612 DIFF 0.043, ASY 0.011.

Hammer Web M.B. (WWRD 11/19/2020)

Hammer Web M.B.

Following the tremendous and continued success of the Hammer Web TE Hybrid, Hammer Bowling introduces the new Web M.B. (Mass Bias) to its Upper-Mid Performance line. With a reshaping of the spheroid core to change this ball into a medium asymmetrical (0.018), the Web M.B. adds a stronger back end motion. Using the Semtex base (found on earlier Black Widows) and adding new additives will make this ball ideal for medium oil volumes. The colors are a combination of Dark Blue & Purple and are finished at 500/1000 Siaair with Crown Factory Compound added. As always with Hammer balls the outer core is carbon fiber infused. Lighter weights (12-13 lbs.) have an adjusted core that still gives a diff of 0.043 and an asym. diff of 0.011. The new Hammer Web M.B. would also be a perfect complement to the…….

Hammer Web Tour Edition Hybrid (WWRD 9/3/2020)

Web Tour Edition Hybrid

The Hammer Web Tour has been a favorite for its controlled motion when the conditions called for it. League and tournament bowlers of all levels bought at least one, which made them scarce. Hammer Bowling brings you the next incarnation, the Hammer Web TE Hybrid.

Using the same Spheroid TE core with the specs of an RG of 2.470 and Diff of a controllable 0.030 at 15 lbs., you will see a ball motion with more length and a strong continuation down lane than the original. The lighter weights at 12 and 13 have an adjusted core with a higher RG of 2.585 and a higher Diff of 0.040. The adjustment will give similar motions for bowlers who need to use lighter weights and have slower ball speeds.

The colors are Black and Blue Pearl and with the TourV1 Hybrid cover and a smoother box finish at 500/1500 Siaair Micro Pad, the Web TE Hybrid matches up for medium volumes or for bowlers who had to adjust the original’s surface because it seemed too strong overall for their bowling environment.

This ball will add performance and versatility to you bag. Get your orders in a.s.a.p., you won’t regret it.

Hammer Redemption Hybrid (WWRD 8/6/2020)

Hammer Redemption Hybrid

The Hammer Redemption Hybrid fits nicely in between the Hammer Redemption Solid and Pearl balls that were released on 2/20/2020. This ball is a beautiful color combo of Red/White/Navy. The cover stock is the new Aggression NE Hybrid with box finishes of 500/1000 Siaair and Crown Factory Compound applied on top. The cover is very tunable to match your style of play. As with the previous and still available Redemptions, the core at 15 lbs. gives a low RG (2.498), High Diff (.053) with an Asym Diff of .015. To help bowlers that use lower weights (12-13 lbs.), Hammer uses a different core to help duplicate the motion of the heavier balls without losing any performance. The core has a slightly higher RG (12lbs 2.593, 13 lbs 2.597) and 0.041 Diff. & .0.014 Asym Diffs on both weights.

All 3 Hammer Redemptions use D.O.T. manufacturing by Brunswick. D.O.T. stands for Durability Optimization Technology. This allows the ball to be drilled in an unrestricted drill area for more flexibility and still keep the 2 year warranty from purchase date in force. The outer core is infused with carbon fiber to add to the durability.

If you are looking into a new high performance pearl for medium to heavy volumes, ask you favorite retailer to order you a Hammer Redemption Hybrid. Remember to keep your equipment clean for a longer lasting and consistent reaction.

Hammer Fugitive Solid (WWRD 8/6/2020)

Hammer Fugitive Solid

With the announcement of the new Hammer Fugitive Solid, bowlers will be getting a lot of bang for the buck.  Early testing has this ball with a smoother reaction than the Hammer Redemption Solid (due to its symmetrical core), but could also handle the same medium-heavy volumes of lane conditioner. The eye catching Blue, Black and Orange color scheme will grab other bowler’s attention while you are knocking down more pins.

The Juiced Solid cover stock was recently used on the Hammer Ruthless (2.52/0.041 @15 lbs.) and Diesel Torque (2.51/0.046 @15lbs.) before that, but has a stronger engine to give you the reaction you’ve been looking for. The new Fugitive core at 15 lbs. has an RG of 2.486 and a High Diff of .052, which will give a stronger and earlier reaction. The Fugitive Solid’s box finish comes in at 500/2000 Siaair to help it cut through the oil. If you are a bowler who uses lighter weight equipment (12-13 lbs), Hammer has exchanged the Fugitive core with one that will give you the same reaction as the heavier counterparts. It’s all about keeping the numbers close to work with the cover stock and total ball weight. In the testing, I saw the Fugitive solid at least 5 boards more into the oil than the Hammer Fugitive with a smoother but continuous motion down lane.

As with the Pro performance Hammer balls, the Fugitive Solid has an outer core that is carbon fiber infused and has a 2 year warranty from the purchase date. Keeping solid cover stocks clean will help keep the performance help your ball last longer when used on conditions it designed for.

Hammer Fugitive (WWRD 2/20/2020)

Hammer Fugitive

Are you a bowler looking for that clean through the front and hooks hard on the backend type of reaction (Skid/Flip)? The new Hammer Fugitive comes in that performance level at a budget friendly price. It’s quite a good looking ball going down the lane with the colors of Red and Silver.

The Juiced Pearl cover stock was first used on the Rebel Yell and recently on the Hammer Flawless. Its box finish is at 500/1000 Siaair with Crown Factory Compound added to get the length. The new Fugitive core at 15 lbs. has an RG of 2.486 and a High Diff of .052. The cover and core combination provides that skid/flip motion on medium volume patterns. As with the Pro performance Hammer balls, the Fugitive has an outer core that is carbon fiber infused and has a 2 year warranty from the purchase date.
